Eric Tetuan began Platinum Auto Body in a small shop on the corner of 21st & French St. Before starting Platinum, Eric had been working in the auto body industry for his entire career. The standard of excellence he maintained in his repairs earned him a distinguished reputation with his customers. Several of these customers encouraged him to start his own business, and in 1998, he did just that.
As word of mouth spread and personal recommendations drew in more customers, the business rapidly expanded, outgrowing the first shop in under two years. To accommodate, Eric moved into a bigger building in 2000. This new shop, located at 521 East 18th Street, allowed for more indoor space to work and more advanced technology. This is where we remain today.
Platinum Auto Body continues to grow our base of satisfied customers. Still family-owned and operated by Eric and his wife Diane, Platinum is and always will be a small collision shop at heart. Eric works hands-on alongside his skilled technicians every day, and each vehicle repair must meet his high standards before it's released back to our customers.
